Articles
Articles I have written and designed on current affairs in politics, culture, identity, music, art, fashion, and learning environments. My approach to writing is similar to my approach to design, as I aim to recontextualise extensive information into content that is engaging and accessible to it’s readers.
After writing articles, I like to present them in playful, visually appealing and reader-friendly formats.

Fail Forward // excerpt
Whether we like it or not, failure is something that we all experience at some point in our lives. It can make us feel awkward, disappointed, burdened, and anguished. It can even deprive us of opportunities, undermine our self-confidence, and impact our motivation to continue. It's no wonder we don't celebrate it.
It has been proven that without failure, success is not possible. According to Stanford professor Karol Dweck, it is up to us as individuals to define our own notions of success and failure. The world can be divided into those with a fixed mindset and those with a growth mindset. A fixed mindset believes that IQ is predetermined at birth and remains fixed throughout life. On the other hand, a growth mindset believes that with effort and energy, talents and abilities can be developed over time to achieve success. Allowing fear of failure to paralyze us can hinder us from making bold and exciting decisions. Instead, when we embrace failure and learn from our mistakes, we can grow and overcome it. Our decisions are not final; we are allowed to stumble and change our minds as we navigate our path to discovering our desired destination. Enduring the challenges along the way is key to achieving success. It is through acknowledging and learning from our failures that we gain the perseverance to keep going, even when the outcome is uncertain.
Having a positive outlook on failure and recognizing its integral role in building resilience will help you cope when things don't go as anticipated. Having a growth mindset empowers you to see failures as a source of motivation. Over time, the fear of failing diminishes as you appreciate how it facilitates personal growth and development.
